I have never owned a Dashiki shirt, even though I was teen in the 60's. I thought the design in the picture was nice, but was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. The design is intricate and elegant. This could pass almost anywhere. The collar is open and so this might not go well at work. The shirt is extrememly comfortable. Large enough for me with a 46 inch chest. I am 6'5'' tall, yet the shirt is at a comfortable length for me none the less. Perfect with jeans. My wife put it on and it's more of a short dress for her: with a belt it looks fantastic! Clearly needs to be washed by hand and dried on a line or hanger and perhaps pressed a bit. I would definitely buy another.
