The arms aren't left gaped open so you show off everything your trying to cover up. You can lift your arms and not show off anything you don't want to.

I am a BBW and this is loose and extremely comfortable. It is so loose that I can't imagine what this would look like on a smaller woman. It would almost have to be a belted dress. It would look fantastic that way! Love love love this top! Very free comfortable and still dressed nice!
