I purchased the sealSkinz socks and gloves to keep my feet warm during Whitewater rafting. I have a condition where my fingers and toes get very cold -- to the point of numbness and turning white. I used the socks with wet suit booties on over them. My feet stayed dry and warm all day, with constant water splashing on them.

The gloves, on the other hand (no pun intended!), after a while started to allow water to seep in. But I think they would have worked if I had a wet suit glove on over them.
