These socks, quite plainly, suck. I wore them in the shower to test them out, and they did a better job of keeping the water in then keeping it out. I'm in Army ROTC, so I decided to try again when I got new boots and had to break them in in the shower. Same result. Thinking that maybe they repel water, but can't stand up to being absolutely soaked, I tried one more time, going on a ruck march in the rain. Again, same result. These are terrible, they seem to absord water and then keep it in. Don't buy them.
