I needed this product for my chemistry seminar. The coat is clean, it's a medium thick fabric, kinda like 2 cotton shirts thick. I saw some reviews and was concerned about the thickness but it was ok. The lab coat is a little hard to button because the holes are fairly tight and it takes about a minute to unbutton them all without ripping the thread. The coat is a little see-through if you're wearing a dark color underneath. The pockets were at perfect length to where it's natural to put your hands. I wear size medium/small shirts because I like the hugging feeling, I ordered a medium and it was a very good fit, I was afraid of it being like a wizard robe with sagging sleeves but the medium fit very well at my arms length which is about 5'10 in span and I'm about 5'7 in height.
