This is a very high quality hat. Most boonie hats are really light and cheap feeling.
This one is serious headgear. I get the feeling that I'll own it for a long time and it won't wear out.
The fabric might be too heavy if you live in the hotter parts of the country.
The only thing I don't like is it's made in Vietnam. That's a little creepy - poetic justice, maybe?
