The ONLY reason I chose this hat from Propper over the others on the market is because they (Propper) claim that all of their gear is 100% U.S. made to military specifications. Unfortunately, my hat was made in the Dominican Republic. I am so sick of marketing BS. I spent nearly a week researching this manufacturer, along with others, just to be duped in the end. However, it is a nice hat and fits good. Oh well, at least it wasn't made in China!
