Needed a bag that was wearable cross body for running errands on the bus with my two year old. Back packs are cumbersome when you need to grab something from a pocket so this messenger bag is very convenient. I wanted a nice, simple canvas bag that did NOT have laptop padding. This is perfect. Has big pockets, including one on either end that fit a 32 oz Nalgene water bottle. If you want something to hold it's shape better, don't get a canvas bag without laptop padding. And yes, the color is slightly yellow, but that was fine for me.
