I'm 5'4", and this skirt is just a teensy bit too long. If I were wearing shoes, it would probably be okay, but I'll be performing barefoot, so I'll either have to pull it up over my belly button, or pin it up just a wee bit at the bottom. The fabric is also super static-clingy -- after enough spinning around, it can feel like an electrical storm is going on around your legs. This is also a bit too poofy to ever wear under a beledi dress, but this probably isn't a skirt you want to hide under anything, anyway.

Aside from that, this is a great skirt. Very pretty, nice spin, nice layering. The folds make it pretty enough on its own, but it's basic enough that it doesn't detract from a hip scarf. There are so many layers -- it's a touch heavy, but not distractingly so -- and I worried it might get hot, but it's surprisingly cool. I'm a fat girl (let's not beat around the bush), and elastic is usually never a fat girl's friend, but this waistband was really comfortable -- no pinching, no muffintopping, it fit like it was made for me. Great skirt, would highly recommend.
