Our handmade kilts are designed by the world's leading kilt manufacturers. They are built to last and will withstand any manly task you put them up to. The style is traditional with added functionality. The Smithy model has custom button placement with extra straps, hooks, and multi functional pockets (some are hidden, have fun finding them) throughout to give a unique flare you won't find anywhere else.

Sizing Guidance: All sizes are 24'' in length. For waist size we recommend you use the following guidelines: Small equivalent to a waist size of 33-34, Small-Medium equivalent to a waist size of 35-36, Medium equivalent to a waist size of 37-38, Medium-Large equivalent to a waist size of 39-40, Large equivalent to a waist size of 41-42, and Extra Large equivalent to a waist size of 43-46.

This model does not have the adjustable straps found on our original Sport Utility Kilt.

This is my first kilt, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This kilt is well made and has enough pockets that you can carry everything you need with plenty of room to spare. There are enough buttons that are well enough placed that it's NOT going to fall off accidentally (even without a belt), but not so many that they're a pain to snap (I have to give mine a decent tug in to remove it).

It holds it's pleats well, but the material's fairly stiff, making it great for special occasions or formal events, but not so great for everyday wear (esp if you're going to be sitting down a lot, it doesn't bend easily at the knees).

All in all, the price makes it perfect for someone that's never tried a kilt before or only intends on wearing one to festivals and such, but if you're looking for something to wear all the time I'd suggest finding one made out of a more flexible material.
